Elluminate
Plan! is a standalone desktop application that enables you to prepare the content of an Elluminate
Live! session ahead of time and then automate the actions within a session. During the session, all it takes is a single click on a session plan item to trigger an action in Elluminate
Live! (e.g., start recording, move to the next slide, create breakout rooms, load and present a quiz, play a multimedia file, etc.).
Although it possesses much of the functionality of Elluminate
Live!, Elluminate
Plan! operates independently of Elluminate
Live!, allowing you to create session plans on a computer without an Internet connection. By automating many of the routine tasks of running sessions, session plans let presenters focus on delivering the session material and interacting with session attendees. Elluminate
Plan! also provides course content providers with the assurance that their content will be presented consistently by multiple presenters and across multiple sessions.
Elluminate
Live! Version 8.5 will be required to run session plans created in Elluminate
Plan! Elluminate
Live! Version 8.5 also includes changes related to application sharing from a Vista desktop (including explanatory dialogs and text) and enhancements to Presentation Mode. Instructions on how to access an Elluminate
Live! Version 8.5 beta room to run your Plans has been sent to you via email.
