First Quarter 2009 Closes with Year-to-Year Revenue Growth, Exponential Usage Increase by Existing Customers, and Dozens of New Customers Worldwide

  • Revenues for the first quarter of 2009 grew year-over-year, fueled by significant customer renewals and upgrades, as well as many new domestic and international users for both K12 and Higher Education markets. This results in a total of over 1,300 institutional customers using Elluminate solutions.

  • Elluminate's enabling technology goes beyond the virtual classroom with tools for student-centered learning, on-demand collaboration, start-to-finish session management, content creation and distribution, and enterprise-wide adoption. Many customers also expanded size of their deployments, indicating broader acceptance of web conferencing as a solution to cost-effective collaboration and of online learning programs as a new source of revenue.
