Using a Configuration Room

A Configuration Room is an excellent way for your participants and moderators to pre-configure their computers prior to their FIRST Elluminate Live! sessions. The Configuration Room allows attendees to install the required software, test their connections and configure their audio. This room can be open 24 hours a day and all you need to do is provide the access information to the attendees and encourage them to join.

ASP Customers: Take advantage of Elluminate's Technical Configuration Room

Server Customers: Due to individual settings on your server, you must create your own configuration room and provide the access information by emailing it to your users, posting it on your websit e or in your LMS. If you are using the Elluminate Live! Manager, create an open meeting room available for a long time (for example, ending at the end of the semester). If you are not using the Elluminate Live! Manager, you can create a session that has a generic password.
