Incorporating Builds on the Whiteboard
Elluminate
Live! allows you to load PowerPoint / OpenOffice /
StarOffice presentations directly onto the whiteboard for your session.
When a presentation is loaded onto the whiteboard all slides are converted
into static images and loaded onto separate whiteboard screens. This
means that all transitions, animations and links will be lost. However,
there are a couple of ways in which you can incorporate transitional builds
into your presentation.
- You can create a series of individual slides where you build
one bullet point at a time. This way, when you advance to the
next slide, the next bullet will appear.
- When you load original presentation onto the whiteboard,
cover all of the points on the slide with a filled rectangle(s)
(ideally the filled rectangle(s) should be the same color as
the background). Since the whiteboard is object oriented, you
can then move or delete each rectangle to reveal one bullet
at a time as you are going through your presentation.
