Elluminate Live!™ Recordings and Windows XP Service Pack 2

Windows XP Service Pack 2 includes new security features. Users of Elluminate Live!™ may experience some new security prompts when trying to launch a recorded session when using Internet Explorer. SP-2 installs a new feature called the Information Bar, which automatically blocks file and software downloads until permission is granted by the user. This may interfere with links to Elluminate Live!™ recordings, resulting in an endless loop of asking for and granting permission to download the file without ever launching the recording.

To stop automatically blocking file and software downloads with the Information Bar, and instead receive a manual prompt for each download:

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options
3. On the Security tab, click Custom Level
4. In the downloads section of the list, under ‘Automatic prompting for file downloads’, click Enable
