We are pleased to announce the availability of Elluminate Live! V8.5, part of the complete Elluminate Learning Suite. The focus for the Elluminate Learning Suite has been expanded to address the entire instructional cycle of planning, presenting, recording and publishing and therefore bringing you to the next step in eLearning.

More importantly this release now allows you to leverage Elluminate Next>. Newly released Elluminate Plan organizes and packages content and activities before your Elluminate Live! session, automating routine tasks and allowing instructors to focus on delivering material, facilitating interaction, and optimizing the learning experience. During the session, all it takes is the selection of a session plan item to trigger an action in Elluminate Live! (e.g., start recording, move to the next screen, create breakout rooms, etc.). Elluminate Live! V8.5 now allows you to load session Plan! files.

Please note that there will be an additional download the first time your users access a session after this update with the new version of our software. Although the files are automatically downloaded, your users should allow some extra time, approximately 1 - 8 minutes depending on their Internet connection speed, for this download to complete.

Server Customers:
Elluminate Live! server customers can gain access to this release through our Support Portal. For instructions on how to access our Support Portal and download any required software please click here.

For ASP Customers:
All hosted customers will be upgraded to the V8.5 during our regular maintenance window on June 28, 2008 from 8:00pm – 12:00am US Eastern (UTC – 04:00). This means that all currently scheduled sessions and any future sessions will be scheduled on V8.5.
